Just wanted to shout out hello to everyone and looking forward to the site. I've been riding Yamahas for years, owning Viragos 700 and 1100, XS1100 and one almighty VMax. Just bought a 82 Maxim 750 with 13k miles and looking forward to riding it and restoring it. Nice forum, going to useful in my endeavor....

Welcome to the site. Can at times be picky bike but worth every minute. Be diligent & you will be very happy with this bike.

Welcome from Dayton Ohio. The people on here are full of knowledge when it comes to these bikes and are always willing to help out another forum member with some great info and help. I don't know what I would've done without them.

Hello all! I recently became a proud owner of a 82 yamaha maxim xj650. Bought it for $700 and its in perfect condition, body and engine. I love it so much I found this forum and HAD to join.
