Ok, finally got my blue sheathed SS brake line installed. Huge difference and the color works, or at least I think so. Smile

Here they are:

Bye bye rubber devils!

Good choice! Works great with the decal color. Full bike pics?

Along with the full-floating rotors, once the brakes get bedded in, you're going to notice a really nice improvement in performance. If you haven't done it already, replace your fork springs with a brand new set of Progressives and the thing will stop better than you would have ever believed.

You need a new speedo cable rubber ring mounty-thing for the fender there. Len should have them.

I noticed the (substantial) performance increase immediately. I had about two hundred miles on the rotors and pads when I put these on. I was very happy with how fast I was able to bleed the lines too, last year when I rebuilt the calipers I worked on the bleeding for what seemed like a couple of hours. These took maybe twenty minutes. Smile It's nice pulling back the brake pedal (sorry, I just had to) Razz and having it just plain stop about half way in.

And that speedometer cable holder thingy, that broke probably back in the early '90's and it's something I keep forgetting about. I actually finally just cut the loop off the cable a few weeks ago, it was just hanging there for about 20 years. Embarassed I should put one on my list. Smile

I also have a pair of D rings on my helmet lock as a reminder not to use it. Back in the mid eighties someone wanted my Bell Star more than I did. Mad Not sure what good it was without a means to fasten it though? Live and learn I guess.

Looks real nice, I've got the same bike, what lengths did you buy of lines? I'd love to order them without having to first disassemble the system if at all possible.
