I have a local mechanic who I trust but he is moving and my bike needs some work done. My room mates won't let me work on my bike in their garage so I need someone who either will work on it for pretty cheap or EVEN better let me cover on a Sunday to hang out and help me do some work. Let me know if anyone is interested I can and will Pay for assistance. I have been told that my bike needs the carbs cleaned... It has a dead spot around 5-7k where the power doesn't kick in.. (From aftermarket exhasut and air filter). So probably larger jets. Also to check the valves. I have no clue how to syn carbs or any of that... So I can pretty much hold things and fetch. Lol.

If any of you guys have another suggestion of how to do this let me know.. I don't want to get taken @ 95 an hr...

If only someone was in edwardsville or springfield i would ride over too. I have tools and beer but i dont have the valve tool.
