SecaSuca: I personally can take it. The bike only has 9000 miles on it and seems sound the last 1000. I am thinking it will take it. Did a run to Yuma from PDX on a V Star 650.

bigfitz52: That depends on you and your bike. How far have you gone on it before? I recommend you work up: do a couple 100-mile weekends, then a 300 or 400 miler, and see how you both do. Good ooprtunity to get your traveling ducks in a row.
