Just saw about 2000 different motorcycles at the Toronto show. Kawi display caught my eye with the new Retro 900 next to the supercharged H1. This was the only XJ there, I think the same butcher was responsible for the apocalyptic Suzuki Savage

Really like the Z900RS Kawasaki just came out with. My nephew is looking to get one.

Wonder if that XJ is even rideable? It does have a chain on it, unlike the other monstrosity.

I saw an XSR900 I think it was designated. The manufacturer's show is coming up in February. This show was just dealers, vendors, clubs and belt buckles.
Dealers mostly showcasing non-currents. I saw an FZ700 for $6500.

Yeah, the xsr700 is brand new... Pretty much the same as the 900, only based on the fz7 instead of the 9. I thought this was the manufacturer show. I've gone to that one, it's pretty awesome!

I saw the 2 Kawis next to each other at the IMS in Minneapolis is December. I was really impressed with how the designers were able to clearly relate the new bikes to the older styling. It seems everyone has at least one retro-inspired models out this year. A friend left the show with a receipt for his down payment on a new CB1100.

A lot of people want the new z900 but most dealers I know will only get one or two and full pop retail. there aren't enough to go around. So he better hurry up and make a deal on one:)

Imagine that... You make a bike that people actually want, and you sell motorcycles! Did anyone actually ask for a Honda NC700? So... practical, so... nice.o_O "Cool factor" is a big part of bike purchase decision. Some bikes just have it, and others don't.
