    Thanks Adrian, that sounds exactly like what may the problem. It looks like replacement of both wheel bearings is prescribed.

    Can anyone point to a source for the correct bearings?

    I got the bike back together and have been riding it. I changed the oil to Rotella and that seemed to quiet the thing some.

    The clutch started slipping so I ordered clutch set and springs. They sent the wrong clutch. It should be CK2255 and not CK1176. The springs were CSK14 but the were shorter than the stock springs. I returned both items.

    My research is coming up with CSK049 as the correct spring. Do you guys know what the the clutch and spring part numbers should be?
