    I'm glad I found this post (again).
    I also eventually want the flat black engine type look. I'm not sure I'd paint everything black, but now I have some ideas what it will look like on an XJ :)

    One of the few older posts where I can still see the photos. I was also curious about the sportster seat. Fitment, year etc. It actually looks pretty good on the XJ.
