Maybe the 1700.00 is supposed to be Miles.... the " .00 " is confusing me... my odometers only go to " .0 ".....

Doh. Had to look at that several times before I finally saw it... too many long days and nights in the classroom-- my eyes aren't focusing right, I guess.

    Carry on---I'll shut up now

You're right. We DO have a lot of time on our hands. We LIKE to be whinny and nitpicky:), especially when a newbie shows up trying to sell a bike quick.

-Forks rebuilt at a dealer? Uh oh
-Tubes? Why in the world did you put tubes in?
-Carbs? Who rebuilt them... the dealer?
    -Driveshaft? Why was it serviced?

BTW, I did acknowledge my lack of noticing a tiny 0 on my tiny phone screen....

    Shutting up again

How long until riding season? Sigh...

I know. It's still cool. I don't see too many up here. It makes the 80s styled boxes up front look much better.

Of course it's still cool....it's an XJ------plus, it has the lowers.

Now, if only it had the saddle bag liners, it might actually be worth something........cuz there's currently only 2 other pairs of the liners known to exist......and those two pairs are NOS, and have never been on a bike. That's a fact, Jack.

Well, when i spoke with him before the ad was put up he has told me the saddlebag liners are in fact there. I specifically asked about those and the Yamaha ignition emblem as well which he says is also there. I do hope HG will post more pictures for everyone so possibly a member here can get her and enjoy her.
    Bring us more pics HG

The evasive ignition cover emblem?!?! I've heard that one exists somewhere.... I don't even have one! If I did, I'd post it in my "unobtanium" forum
