1986 XJ700 Maxim - Magazine Reviews

I would not have guessed this was such a tough find on the internet. Does anyone know if the 1986 XJ700 was reviewed and where I might find it? Also looking for the original showroom brochures. I have searched ebay and some other sites. Any help is appreciated

 

Part of the difficulty with the 700 is that there are 2 completely different models. Air cooled is the regular one, and the water cooled X which came with the 5 valve per cylinder Genesis engine from yamaha's sport bike line. The X got all the press, so finding air cooled info is tough to find. Google search for "xj700 review" is mostly about the X.
