81 xj550 bobber spoked wheels

    Hey guys. I'm working on an 81 xj550 seca bobber project. I'd love to put spoked wheels on this thing but I've seen some conflicting info. It's a hardtail so no swingarm. Will the xs400 rear wheel work on since there are no shocks?

    For the front I'm already only running a single rotor so will the xs400 front work on it too? Trying to get as much info on this before I start ordering wheels off ebay lol.

    maybe look at xs650 wheels from 1980 same size

    there is an xs forum out there where you may be able to get hub width specs
