Which could also mean a title could be an issue or at least involve lots of paperwork to acquire.

In Wisconsin it was not bad to get a bonded title and have the state send me a bonded title. It was only two forms and then a phone call to a bond agency, $100 for the bond and the normal money for the other paper work and I had a title for a bike that had none. Not too bad if you find a really good deal.

Interesting. I have stumbled across a 550 Maxim with no title. Granted it's missing a few parts but there enough to do something with if I can get a title for it...

Talked to him awhile back. He stated it was a trade in on a car. I never talked further after realizing he had zero idea about it and wouldn't send me a pic of the inside of the tank. At least I asked for one. Hmmmm. Maybe it's still in the works. Just can't drive 3 hours and then find out it's worth 200$ And then do the mandated title and taxes etc from a sales lot

I just got a email from him, will not send more pics and will not give any more info on the background of the bike...Good luck on that sale....

Would that be a naked bike, or have a pair of big headlights? Airhead? Liquid-cooled?

    Matti will be here shortly-----

And a nice looking left exhaust.
Have seen a lot of rough looking 650r's and it seems that the mufflers hold up well, even when neglected. And looks like it still has the big headlight.

If there's a naked airhead with big headlights, Matti will be there shortly.
