Drive lube

    how do you check the shaft drive lube? What kind does it take? Thank you

    You have to pull the wheel, pull the final drive, and pull the driveshaft out of the swingarm tube.
    Lube with moly grease. I use a waterproof moly wheel bearing grease, but a good moly paste will do the job too.
    Clean and lube both sets of driveshaft splines, as well as the wheel drive splines. Once lubed the driveshaft can be pretty much ignored for a decade or two, but the wheel splines should be cleaned and re-lubed every time you put a new tire on.
