exhaust swap

    Trying to put the 750 maxim exhaust pipes on the 650 anyone done this before I am having problems with the kickstand and the rear mounts.

    750 exhaust pipes are a bit longer/taller, and the 650 maxim pipes do not go to a collector box..... The mufflers are both 2 -into-1 single-piece units with a cross-over pipe.

    Sort of like trying to put an xj550 engine onto a chainsaw.......the exhaust is totally different

    I'm sure some has probably done it somehow, but the 750 collector box is:
    1. going to hang lower
    2. Probably still going to interfere
    3. Muffler mounting points still not line up.

    I think you're going to need to remove the center stand

    AND

    I'm not sure that there is even provision for the collector box rear mount to bolt on.
