Anyone know what size bolt on the 82 maxim 750 swing arm
Which bolt? Axle pinch bolt? Brake stay bolt? Brake stay-to-brake cover bolt? Swing arm pivot bolt?
Which side do you need? The side shown isn't the 'bolt'
If you need one, it's the same on almost all the 650-on-up xj's....and I got a bunch of them
I'm learning I just wanted to know the size so I can remove the swing arm off the frame
Oh, now I understand....
It's a metric size, but I believe I use my 1" or 1-1/16" socket.....at any rate, I know I use my SAE stuff for that simply cuz it fits. I'm not home right now, I'll check that for you when I get home. IIRC, the solid pivot on the left side is a different size than the locking but on the right side.... I'll check all that for you
HCP11336 Aftermarket standard depth 27mm SOCKET, used to remove your swingarm pivot bolt and nut on all XJ650 - XJ1100 models, and the rear axle castle nut on XJ1100 and XS1100 models. Chrome-plated, 6-point, 1/2" drive.
I just verified... I use my 1-1/16" socket for both sides
Thanks I'll play with it tomorrow, hey would you happen to have a pair of stock front turn signals or need anything
82 maxim 650
Probably--- I'll look.
Can you send me a pic of your signal mounts? There are a couple different sizes...
Those are the signals, not the mounts--....I need to see the mounts they slide on to.....
