Got the eBay alert because I viewed that turn signal at some point...
They are never going to raise the money if they keep discounting their parts like this...

On the other hand, who doesn't want to save $1,475.01 ?

I mean... it is for a limited time.

Once the current ebay auction (at least the 2nd time around) is completed on their XJ650RJ, I'll fill you guys in on what happened with the earlier auction for this bike...so, more later...

    Do Tell!!!

The funny thing is that the end of the first auction was what finally motivated me to pull the trigger on a different RJ. They don't come around too often...

I’d be completely stoked to have a xj650rj. I am positive of that, but I am saving my pennies for a 900 first. Just so long as Dave doesn’t hear of it before I would.

When you're ready to pull the trigger, let me know. I have one sitting in the garage. It starts (well, until I took the carbs off) and needs to be thoroughly gone over before being road ready.

    I got a reply.......

'It can go on either side.....its universal"
So I asked him......"oh, so then it must be a new aftermarket one?"
    Haven't heard back

So I asked him to let me know the wire colors so that I could determine the correct side.

I'm still curious what happened with the first, then the need for a second auction... Which didn't end up selling anyway...

what is the definition of Museum Quality anyway? a rather vague term considering what a museum will display.

Kind of like NOS parts some people collect them as a hobby because they are still in original packaging . It would be cool to have a room full of NOS parts for a complete bike.

I can see it now Here is my xj650rj room it is a complete bike Museum quality just needs assembly ;)

key line in the sales pitch the whole ad is just a sales pitch.

A PORTION OF THE PROCEEDS WILL GO TO FUND THE NEW ENGLAND MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM

Take a look at the article that was posted earlier in this thread. They need a lot of money to get that project done. Seems to me taking A PORTION of (even several) 3k sales will take quite some time to hit their mark.
