What do you need to upgrade a xj650h maxim 1981

    I need help on this one xj650 maxima 81 I broke a piston ring and one off the head velve cover its stock so what shud I do in this case

    you could find another motor a 650 or a 750 motor. if you get a 750 motor you will need the tci for it and rejet your carbs

    Well I got another bike it's a xj550 maxima 1981 what's the difference of xj650h maxim 1981 to a xj550 máxim 1981

    about 100cc and shaft drive instead of chain drive and bike weight

    it would not be worth the effort to swap the motors if that is what you are thinking

    but the 550 is fun to ride while you look for another motor

    Ok the problem that I noticed was that the starter was working but it didn't crank the motor to start so I Took off the starter and I noticed the ⭐️ that the starter connect to its loose in the giver has no chain and the clutch it's loose to what should I do

    I was wondering if you would happen to have the Carburetors from you xj550 still. i have a broken housing on one of mine and am looking for either a full set or to buy a single carb and swap it out.
