will xs100 speedo and tach work on a xj750

    The speedo should but I cant say for sure. I think all the Yamahas use the same ratio speedometer . That one i know will work on any XS or XJ1100.
    Please buy them for me, I need them for my XS11.

    If it is an electrical tach it will work ...the speedo as well

    Yes, and yes, but only if you do the necessary wiring modifications to the bike (unless you're making a housing for the systems monitor, and keeping it hooked up).

    I concur, the tach is not cable driven.

    i know this is an old thread, but did you ever find a way to get the tach accurate enough?

    I ended up getting cluster and sending it to someone who needed it for an 1100
