I supplied my frame number, they confirmed the parts would fit, and I ordered them online at about 2:30 on Friday afternoon. At 9:30 am on Saturday morning, the postie knocked on my front door. My parts had arrived.
I’ve worked with Len on multiple parts orders now — most recently for a fusebox upgrade and a full stainless hex-drive fasteners kit for my 1983 XJ750 Maxim Midnight. But even before that, he worked with me over several days to help me piece together everything I needed for a complete carb rebuild, including proper jets, gaskets, diaphragms, and tools.
I was able to get a more-or-less sync without using a YICS tool, but it was never easy and never quite right. So i ordered Chacal's YICS tool and what a difference. It didn't take long to get a nice, even balance and the results seems to be more stable over time. The shipment arrived sooner than I thought, considering it had to pass through customs, and I didn't get hit with any tariff charges! I think it just made it here before all the tariffs took effect.
So, thanks again to Chacal...

I would like to thank Len at xj4ever for the service and quick response. His parts are awesome! I bought a 1982 xj750 and the PO said he rebuilt the carbs with new needles and seats. The carbs were still off of the bike so I took the float bowls off to have a look. All the floats were a different height, I mean drastically off. One was upside down. Definite red flag. So I started from scratch. Ordered some part from Len and the quality of the needle and seats was night and day! Thanks Len!...
Recently I bought a old 82' Yamaha XJ550. Long story short, the carbs were lookin like they needed to be rebuilt since the bike kept cutting out, and the bike shop was going to charge me 1,800$ for the whole kit and caboodle.
