82 XJ 750 J
I replaced O rings on fuel line pipes between carbs. And I’ve had carbs off before a few years ago , but after bench Syncing this time it appears that carb #3 butterfly stays closed. Carbs 1/2/4 are set up with a seamstress straight pin.

Could the bottoms pins in the sync adjusters be different between the 3 ? The springs are put back they way I disassembled. Thanks in advance

Made a quick video showing how I got the carbs out of my girlfriends 1981 Yamaha Seca XJ750. I researched it beforehand and everyone made it sound like the end of the world, or at the very least you'd need to remove the air box. I managed to just slip the air boots from the carbs into the airbox to give enough room to slide the carbs right out. Hope this helps someone.

So I got a 82’ xj650 last year and worked through electrical issues (aftermarket fuses and chaffed wiring) finally got it started last week and it was running on cylinders 2-4 each at various temperatures at the exhaust. So I figured I’d take the carbs off and clean/rebuild them seeing as it has 35k miles on it and the last owner parked it in 2016 due to the tank rusting through. Upon taking the carbs apart I noticed the air jets in the top half were all different sizes. Does anyone know...
