Absolutely beautiful Rich!!! The bags and windshield make the bike look a lot bigger than it is. Like I said before, I've always really liked the V-stars, they'd be one of my top choices if I ever got a new bike. What are your riding impressions so far?

BTW, I'm trying my best to talk John into buying your old XJ so we can "keep it in the family" so to speak.

If I could scrounge up the money somehow, I'd have already bought it myself!

I love it, but not having rode anything this big before I can't compare it to anything.
    Rides like a Caddillac.
Still in the engine break-in period, so I can't really tell you much about the power though.
    It's sweet though.

    Hee Hee!!
No yics but I still have to sync the carbs, only 2 to worry about though.
Bad part is you have to take the right floor board off and remove 1 of the exhaust pipes then remove an engine side cover just to change the oil filter. About a 2 hour job from what I understand. It's inside the engine.
They make an external spin on filter adapter, about $300.00. Sooner or later I'll have to get one.

Why in the world Yamaha doesn't do it from the factory, I'll never understand.
