What's the stickiest front road tyre I can get for my XJ900?

    You're going to get a bunch of recomendations, and you won't really know yourself until 15 years from now after you've tried 7 or 8 different tires :)

    I'm not there yet either, but I have Bridgestone Spitfires and think they are great!

    Bridgestone BT45 (way better than Spitfires)
    Pirelli Sport Demon

    We have quite a few guys here racing older bikes on both those types, I've raced on the BT45 on a RD350LC and they were very good

    I really like my Avons; waayyy stickier than the Dunlops BUT I'm not gonna say much for lifespan... I'm at 3337 miles on the set and the rear looks to be about half gone; and that's on a 550.
