I piloted one of those in college, and it's in the back of my mind to get another some day.

On of my favorite all time bikes is the CB400 Four Super Sport in red or yellow. That bike is on my bucket list. The CB350 fours are pretty cool too. If you have ever seen one of the pistons these CB350 Fours they look like they are from miniature RC model.

It sure is pretty. Unfortunately, that's an aftermarket exhaust, probably a MAC.

The real Honda Supersport pipe went something like...

About 2.5 years ago i sold my 72 cl350. I was so lucky i paid $100 for it from a lady it belonged to her dad he kids tried to push start it after it sat 25 years The guy drained the carbs and gas out of it before stored. I put a battery in it fired right up. Drove it around for a few years and sold it for $2200 i think it had 3700 miles

Yeah, the scrambler. Had one too. I suppose the upswept pipes were for the adventurous off-roaders, but I never was inspired to take that thing off road.

Am I right in thinking both cylinders fired at the same time? Sure was a vibraty thing. ( 71 or 72 cl450 )

That thing took me from MI to WY back in '86. Hands were sore as heck until I bought a 11$ cruise control.

I do miss that old girl. electrical started frying so I junked it. Dummy me!

Guess you're right, Fitz, but don't you dig those crossover headers.

I thought they were 4 into 4 also and they would rust out from the inside. They must have changed material most bikes in the 80s do not have that problem. Unfortunately my 81 400 still has the old style rotted at the joint where the head pipe connects.
