Seem fine? Or are fine? I blew a fuse when I needed a jump last year.

If the fuses are fine, the problem is likely the battery.

Have you checked fuses for continuity and the wiring with a multimeter?

Could maybe be a burnt out wire?

It took me a whole day to find a broken wire that was stopping power getting to the switch.

    Project.

    "Boosted" it with what?

It would also help if we knew what bike you're talking about. Put it in your sig, please.

Also just because a battery is holding 12.4V doesn't mean it has enough amperage to crank the engine. I believe the term is surface charge.

Re: Boosted the battery and now nothing. Not even clicking s

If the fuses and battery is good definitely sounds like a wiring problem. I had a similar problem last week. Thought it was my starter solenoid, since my starter button wasn't getting the job done. I cleaned the solenoid up and still wasn't working properly so I was jumping the solenoid to get the bike started. A couple days later I wasn't even hearing the clicking sound so I took apart the starter button and checking the contacts and after a little trouble shooting found that my starter bottom wasn't grounded. So I just connected a new ground and WALA... Started up with the click of a button.

Check your fuses with a meter, especially the main fuse.

Your battery is dead. I'm 100% sure of that, too.

Thanks everyone. Still nothing. I tried to jump the solenoid and still
Absolutely nothing. I'm going to replace the battery because it's on the low side after recharging and I'll go from there.

Do you have the Original Fuse Panel?

    That's where I'd look first.

if he tried bridging the solenoid then the problem is not with the fuses,
it must be the battery or dirty terminals,
or a non- existant earth on engine
    or jammed starter maybe,

Unplug the starter solenoid (the small wires) and use your battery charger as a power source. Hook up a meter to the big posts to check for continuity. when you hook up your charger to the trigger side of the solenoid (again the small wires) you'll know if that is the problem if the meter dosen't show continuity between the two big posts (even if the solenoid clicks).

Do not discount the very real possibility of multiple faults in the starter circuits. Start at one end and slowly work to the other, one part at a time.

Applying Electrical Current to troubleshoot wiring is risky business.

    I use a 9-Volt Battery.

You can get a Test Jumper at any RadioShack .
