I have a very small amount of fluid that seems to be coming from around the threads on the bleeder screws. Is this a problem? How can I fix it if it is. Just enough to see a little wetness of you run your finger around it

Try tightening a sconch. Not even a 1/16 of a turn, just give her a bump.
That little amount, providing it doesn't build into a drip, wouldn't worry me.

Oh wait, this is an XJ700 and you are saying BOTH bleeders are doing the same weeping?

When is the last time they were fully removed?

Did you try to tighten them? Not suppose to leak at all

They we're removed a couple days ago, I have tightened them, but did not put a lot of torque on them.

Were the holes and threads nice and clean when put back together?

Assuming you understand the importance of not over- torquing and hearing you say you did not put a lot of torque on them.
I would suggest putting a wee bit-o-torque on them and see if that helps.

When they were removed did you look at the taper and at the seats?

I did look at the taper, but not the seats. Maybe didn't look good enough.

I have replaced the brake lines, but have not rebuilt the calipers

Please rebuild the calipers. The seals are just as old as the brake lines were, and the calipers are likely full of goopy crap.

Could not rebuilding them cause the screws to weep? Or is that another issue

It's another issue, ulness some crud is stuck between the taper and the seat.

after you rebuild the calipers use teflon tape on the bleeder screws but keep the little hole clear

Ok, didn't know if the fluid would eat the Teflon tape or not

Nothing except very high heat can damage Teflon. It is the cockroach of materials.
