Mixed emotions

    I sold my 750rj today. Perhaps for less than it is worth, definitely less than it is worth to me. The speed with which it sold, along with the fact that the guy didn't even try to talk me down on price, leads me to believe it is worth more to him too. Now there is a motorcycle sized hole in my heart, and a week from now, there will be a matching space in my garage. Should I wait until then to turn in my xjbikes.com membership?

    You may regret that decision. Sometimes I look at new bikes, but then realize..."Nah...." - I like my XJ.

    Are you going to be replacing it with another motorcycle?

    Sorry to hear you sold the bike, but who knows, maybe there will be another XJ (or another bike) in the future. There is certainly no reason to stay off the forum. Of course, I'm not sure Dave has any good reason for old Eagles songs. Shows his age - grin.

    Sorry to hear you had to sell it, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

    I don't know about anyone else but I see this forum as a great bunch of people that just happen to own the same series motorcycle. It's not about what you own, it's about the community. I think I speak for a good number of us when I say it would be very disappointing to see you go simply because you had a temporary lapse in the holding of a material possession.
