What yamaha xj650 do I own?

    Hello, guys!
    Can not find out what model and year. It 650cc, looks like Seca but I need to know for sure .
    Frame number unfortunately erased.
    Any ideas?

    I'm not sure, I think XJ650E(4H7) 1981 or 1982.

    Wasn't called Seca in Europe. And that's definitely not the right seat!

    Yes...that seat is strapped with a ratchet strap....definitely not original. ..

    Is the VIN number stamped on engine by the oil fill hole on right side......

    Is that not there also ?

    What are the first 3 number/letters ?

    you bike is a euro model you can tell by the control of the left side has extra buttons on it passing light right control has on/off switch for headlight

    plus dual disc brakes and oil cooler

    The sit is from another bike, engine and frame number are gone

    yes, it came from europe (Germany or Italy).

    This bike was imported as for parts from Europe to Ukraine and to avoid customs tax frame and engine no. was erased.

    It's got YICS so I believe that makes it 1982 or newer.

    Here in the USA, one would never be able to title nor ride it like that.....legally.

    Not entirely accurate. While the U.S. only got the Seca 650 in 1982, the rest of the world got it for several years, but without the Seca name attached.
