Hello! I wonder if any of you have these plastics for sale (XJ700X Maxim) or know where I can buy them. Tried new parts pages with no luck, they are not among side covers. Any help is much appreciated

Hehe, good to know. Do you know by chance if this YAMAHA sign on fuel tank is stock? Is it glued to it? Is there a smooth surface under it? I'm thinking about taking it off and doing aerography on the whole fuel tank. Will have to repaint the fuel tank either way - and the current colour looks too much like my girl's favorite nail polish...

The oval emblem is 1986. It is a stick-on emblem.
The round emblems were 1985. They were also stick-on.

Use a strong piece of fishing line and 'saw' your way behind it to cut through the 2-sided tape.

A little bit of heat from a hairdryer helps to soften things up too.
