Auction Steals!

    Well, I'm adding another one to the stable. Picked up this 1982 Honda SilverWing 500 at the local auction for $350 .

    There was also another non running SilverWing there, but couldn't stick around for it, so I put an absentee bid of $80 on it, and lone behold, when I went to pick up the runner, my bidder number was on the non runner!

    There's going to be some part swapping for sure, and the runner needs front brake work and a fork realignment, but for the price, I am definitely not complaining!

    Yeah, you can't complain about a deal like that! You can probably pull the parts you need, and sell the non runner carcass for about what you paid! Free motorcycle!

    I built a beautiful Café Racer out of a CX500 but the original carbs beat me. I was never satisfied with the way it run. Sure was pretty, but I couldn't afford the carbs it really needed to be perfect. I swear I could remove those carbs blindfolded. 20170316_175354_resized-4HONDA.jpg [​IMG]
