House explosion in St.Paul, Minn

To have one house explosion is unfortunate...
To have two is excessive.

 

2 is not smart or insurance fraud or murder

 

Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action.

 

Or a gas company that doesn't care to keep up with replacing their gas lines.
That was likely the cause of the explosions in Massachusetts earlier this year.

 

in Massassachuttes there were dozens of houses that exploded or caught fire due to the gas lines about three months ago.

It was bringing a repaired line back on with 12x normal pressure and blowing through the regulators.

Picture your boiler starting up with 24psi gas feed instead of 0.5psi...

 

fuel oil in use in my house and always converted to oil when gas was present. all those pipes are real old in most places I lived

 

Like a pop off valve locking up on a turbo vehicle and BANG.

 

My good friend is a gas line installer in the midwest and was called out to the Boston area for several weeks to assist with the repair of the lines. Many houses, gas lines and appliances were affected because of the reasons you cite.
