xj550 Seca Repair Manual.. Anybody want it???

    G'day. A mate of mine sent me 2 PDF files that contain the Service and the Repair Manual for my 1982 XJ550 Seca. I would of been lost doing repairs without them, so if anyone wants one, let me know, and I will email you it or something. I do NOT want money for them, all I ask is that you pass it off to the next bloke who needs it as well.

    Good luck. Most ISPs have a relatively small limit on email attachments.

    Unless you set up an FTP site somewhere; the only way you're going to be able to transfer large files is to burn to a CD and mail.

    I found some PDF manuals here : http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=17788.0 unfortunately no Seca Repair manuals but there are service specifications and an illustrated parts lists. Loads of other bikes too. Thought I would pass it on.

    The XJ550 Secas were mechanically identical for all three model years, RH, RJ and RK and the H, J and K Maxims too. There is only one book for the 550s, and it's the 550RH book. There is a "Maxim Supplement" but it's only specification differences.

    Just get on eBay and buy a factory book and be done with it, paper manuals are much easier to use in the garage:

    Also, you may not wanna post your email address where anybody or any robot can grab it. If you do, try to disguise it a bit by spelling out the @ or something. If you don't like spam, that is! Example: jeffmalo5 at gmail dot com. This will at least weed out the 'bots.

    I could use a manual..i bought a 550 seca that sat 10 years outside in canada . Its frozen up. I need to try to get it unstuck.. Would like to see how the oil gallerys travel so i can set up a small pump to push diesel oil thru the motor.

    Any chance to get a digital copy / PDF of the service manual everyone's talking about? We're knee-deep in a fuel-overflow-into-the-airbox issue and just can't shell out for some of the questionable reproductions on eBay at the moment. Can message direct to exchange email addys.
