Xj1100 ignition coils

    Does anybody know if the coils on Ebay are any good. Or is there a different route

    last time I looked into the caltric ignition coils for my XJ the input side did not meet Yamaha specs which could cause the TCI to fail. I did not see any specs listed on ebay or amazon listings,or the part listed on the caltric site

    81 to 83 Honda CB750 coils will swap straight in and have replaceable plug wires. Cycle Recycle part 2 sells these brand new 44 each and the wires as well. I have ran these for 3 years .

    I see one that says for various honda models 79 to 86. Is that the one

    Cycle Recycle Part2.com , they are in Indianapolis indiana , place looks like a dump inside but is FILLED with motorcycle parts , engines,side covers, tanks, you name it .
