Getting ready to paint the tank on my 750 Seca andI have to remove the emblems. Looks to be glue on but is there anything special I need to know to remove and replace them?

Are these the YAMAHA emblems that are gold in color. If so they are held in place with two small Philips screws, no glue. If they are not the YAMAHA emblems I'd have no idea, I have a MAXIM.

They are gold color original to the bike. It’s a Seca. No screws that I can see.

When it comes to removing emblems I prefer Reach waxed AND minted. Only the best for the Seca. Had it been a Harley or Honda or something else I would have used a hammer and chisel.:)

    Not quite.
Seca (and Maxim) 750: 110 fewer pounds, 8 more horsepower.

The Honda VX and VTX series are comfy though, and nice to look at.
