Oh geez--- it's in my "backyard". I'm going to try to establish contact with him and see what transpires.

Technical question. With a hose in the filler cap where do you add oil?

Likely in the same spot. The hose is the turbo oil return to the sump.

    +1
I haven't seen that kit up close, but I have seen oil return lines plumbed that way. There should be a QD fitting between the return hose and the elbow. Remove that and then you can unscrew the cap as normal.

It's gotten too steep for me. I tried to get in contact with him so I could go see it and if I had been able to, probably would bid higher, cuz I could sell off a couple others...... But he hasn't given me the courtesy of any sort of reply. I can't cough up that kind of dough at a moments notice. If he had replied and we could work out an arrangement, I'd bid to win. Oh well.

The guy got around 3500 for it, which is a lot more than any of us with Yammy REGULAR factory turbos would get....good for him although I'm not sure his approach was complete or 100% accurate. It's a very sharp looking bike that will give it's owner (who got it for a steal for such a rare bike) lots of enjoyment.

I hope to read that someone here or on the turbo forum, got it!

Well, I know what you mean.. I struggle to justify new parts on my shed of 'survivors' including $40 for a new intake rubber on teh GT250 I'm working on right now. However you could always follow this guy's lead and build your own..

Well......I even called and left a message, and sent a text----if he had just gotten back to me, I would have been willing to go much higher since he's right around the corner. But, he didn't so---I didn't get the auction, but he didn't get the price that he WOULD have gotten.
