I have been trying to find more info on this too. I did find that the driver of the truck is Not under arrest at this time. Under investigation is right, I sure hope this is not a texting and driving issue. Bottom line it is a darn shame and has to be supper hard on the community.

I find it so sad when I hear of accidents back home In Indianapolis a week ago a deer hit a motorcyclist . I will get on my soap box many folks refuse to ride wearing a helmet and many that are killed were not wearing a helmet and died from head injuries. Several years ago i had my first accident , I've been riding since i was 14 so my story. I was at a casino ( I worked 3rd shift so was used to being up at nights) came home a 3am hop on my Buell and take off went down a road a couple of miles away , rode many times , was going a little to fast and came to the S turn , what I did not know they had cut the road and lots of loose gravel and uneven pavement. The next thing I know I'm down , first thought was " hows my bike" then I realized I could not see ...the face shield looked like it had been put on a sander , the right temple area of my helmet had a chunk missing , my jacket had a small tear in it , my gloves and divits on both nuckles ..my right knee felt like jello . Was more upset my HD foot peg broke and my windshield was scrapped , rode home and realized my glasses had fell out of my helmet guess I took them off. Got in my car drove back to get my glasses, my wife is freaking out , took me to ER ...knee was bruised ,both nuckles on both hands had divits missing skin. I also had a headache , but I'm typing this because I had a helmet on , fixed my bike and was riding a few days later with a new helmet , so my point is be careful wear a helmet, gloves ,jacket ...this all might save your life just my opion , others might fell different and that is fine as well...cheers

All the gear all the time, jet!

About the 7 riders, its really sad despite the cause, and another sad reminder to be the bunny, but also remember this is a risk-based hobby. Its more fun than a day on the couch, but far more dangerous.

    Pegs down.

considering the 2500 dodge truck and car carrying trailer about 3 times the length of the truck. gear may not have been much help 50mph zone where we all go 60mph.
truck driver has now been arrested and is on his way back to NH.

Be the bunny would have helped. 15 bikes riding in 2 coloums was deadly choice. we do allow that but not 2 abreast. they were 900 feet from the motel where they started out.
2 riders were under the truck when their bikes went up in flames.
wmur is doing daily shoots there vultures that they are.

pegs down and will be for many miles

There are more articles coming out on the truck driver. Seems he has a record and refused a blood test on site. I don't know if there is anything the court system can do to make this right. Just sad that our bothers and sisters had to go out this way.

Looks like he has quite a background, and the company looks like it has some issues, too. I imagine this is gonna get even worse, but looks like someone is going to e answering/paying the price
