each connector seperatly disconnect from tci . tou are measuring resistance meter color/polarity does not matter.
    4 position connector
red/white wire and orange wire measure resistance
red/white wire and gray measure resistance

    for pickups 6 position connector
black wire to gray wire measure resistance

same black wire to orange measure resistance

the test is done on wires in the connector body not between the 2 connectors

Got you, on a side note I checked the exhausts and all 4 were hot so it's definitely running on all 4

    Cable 1 and cable 4 = 22.5k
    Cable 2 and 3 = 22.7k

Plug (spark cap) 1 = 7.6k (replaced with spare at 5k)
    Plug 2 = 6.2k (replaced with spare at 5k)
    Plug 3 = 5.5k
Plug 4 = original had no reading but had a spare which read 5.7k

    Ignition coil primary
    3.3 on both sides

    Ignition coil secondary
    11.5k on both sides

    4 pin: (ignition off)
    Red/white to orange = 3.1
    Red/white to gray = 3.0

    6 pin:
    Black to grey = 730
    Black to orange = 732

Only thing that seems to be out is the ignition coil at primary side. Could this be the fault? If so what's the fix?

Plugs used are the NGK BP7ES

So to go over a few things..

Are your caps stock OEM? or NGK replacements?
NGKs will be 5 ohm and the #4 showing no reading if its OEM should have a resistor inside that can be replaced.

Primary resistance on the coils is a tad on the high side. Are they stock coils? Should be closer to 2.5 ohms
Secondary resistance on the coils is good

I couldn't tell you now that I've chopped and changed. One is a red ngk and the others are black/grey from memory.

As theres no history with the bike it's hard to find out what stock and what's not. I would go with them being stock although I replaced one coil with a UK spec one I had in the garage

you have found your problem a bad cap cylinder was not firing no reading is an open cap.

touch your meter probes together see what you get for a reading in the lowest ohms setting subtract that from the primary readings you have listed

I changed the cap and took the bike for a spin. The bottom end power issue seems to be fine however still cant get passed 65mph. The bike revved slightly higher.

This plug is from cylinder 1 and is new. I put it in just before leaving for the ride:

Now I'm led to believe I'm running rich - I I colortuned and vacuum synced prior to heading out.

I checked the cables and they read 0.3 so with a reading of 3.3 from primary, 3.0 is still over. Is it worth getting some new coils? I've found a set in the UK for £40

New coils wouldn't hurt. You are definitely running rich.

New coils are on order. Estimated a week?!

I'll have another go with the colortune and see if I can adjust. Bottom end power is there and is good
