This is probably not the correct forum for this question, but I'm not sure where else to ask.

I'm considering buying a motorcycle about 2000 miles away. Not sure if I want to fly out and drive it back (I have not given up on the idea yet) but I want to consider shipping it instead. Can anyone recommend a reputable method/carrier?

    Thanks,
    Rustee Gold

No worries. I moved it to the Hangout Lounge for you.
I've only shipped one bike, and I'll have to do some digging to find out who I used.
Keep in mind that you can get it shipped fast, you can get it shipped cheap, you can get it shipped securely (tied to a motorcycle pallet and shipped in a closed trailer) , but you can only choose two of those options.
I chose the cheap and secure option. It took 35 days from Kansas to SoCal. No damage at all and the buyer was very happy (he paid the costs).

I've never shipped with this place but have heard that it's pretty good.

    Hope this helps.

That's what I used for that sale I mentioned earlier. Thanks for the reminder.

I had a bike shipped from Calf to NY back in May. Went to local car shipper who brokered pick up and delivery, cost $800.00 and took about a week, bike arrived undamaged.
