I first caught wind of this bike about 8 months ago. After a long summer of infrequent communication and fears that I missed out, it finally worked out in late October and the bike arrived today. It is a true one owner bike, verified by the title and was cool to talk to the original PO. He has a climate controlled garage for his cars so luckily this spent most of it's life in there. It has sat for about 12 years so it is really dirty but underneath I am finding an almost pristine bike. It will take some time to get back on the road but the hardest part is done now.

It's not getting parted or modified. I had planned on restoring but I think a good cleaning/service and will be better for this one. They're only original once.

Very nice! Well done. And thank you for keeping it original. I am not a purist but do appreciate originality.
Will it be coming to the Carb Clinic?

LOL no, I guess I somehow included those pics in my ZIP export from Google Photos.

I've been trying to get to one of those for a few years now, hopefully there is no conflict this summer!

Well, if you start planning now and tell She Who Must Be Obeyed that you have reserved that time for your plans you stand a TINY bit of a chance. Lots of awesome riding places in our area, sites to see, stuff to do. Wineries and vineyards in the Finger Lakes, sort of on the way home to Ohio, promise to bring her a bottle of good stuff.

Green 82 Maxim. Was a full resto but got hit on it. I have a new frame powder coated, just need to get down to it.

    82 Kaw KZ750 CSR M1

Yellow black is a Triumph Speedmaster 800. Good cruiser but not my favorite for running around town or hitting the backroads.

Is the Z750 the twin cylinder rare one, or the normal 4 banger??

We got the SR650 series in the UK which looked a little similar, I think...

I'd never have guessed, dont think I've even seen a Speedmaster, lol!

I recently sold my RS955i Sprint....wasan't really riding her much...and when I did, I went too fast, lol.....DO miss the three pot engine though!!

The KZ is the rarer twin. One year bike, motor shares some parts with the 70’s twins but other parts are unobtanium. Took me almost two years to find one intake duct for it. I liked it because it has spokes and a kick start.

PO had a Tracy Designs Streetfighter fairing/windshield on it. He had relocated the turn signals due to it. I was going to move them back but I need the rubber bushings, I'm sure Chacal has them but I haven't looked yet.

This is the one that was near you that I PM'd you on a long time ago.

Hah, I came real close as the guy was tough to get ahold of. Weeks to respond to emails and no returns calls. Looks like you have your hands full anyways! The Seca is almost ready for the road, battery, new bearings, tires, and brakes are done. Carbs are with Dave. Luckily I had all the parts stashed for the Maxim and the tires were meant for another bike that I am going to sell instead. Should be ready to ride as soon as spring hits.
