Do you have to wear the high school linebacker shoulder pads to ride that thing? I bet the bars help with fatigue of that outside arm, probably horrible to ride in a straight line but you can turn left all day.

That bike pulled out of those corners like it was a sling shot. Watching 32 as he gets pased you know he is saying some choice words as the bike goes by. You can see his head move as he is swearing or yelling. Very cool thanks for sharing.

That's a specialize setup for a very specific type of racing popular in Japan. The bikes are designed to ride in a turn the entire time. If you watch, he takes a different line, so that the bike's lean angle and speed are consistent. The handlebars are level when the bike is leaning.

Super cool vid, then I got sucked into the Youtube black hole and was watching some dude kick butt racing a 59 T-Bird against a bunch of smaller nimble cars.

It's like a speedway bike made for pavement.
My brother dabbled in speedway racing. I gave it a few laps but never got it drifting sideways like the fast guys.
I thought my KTM 525 was a fast thumper but once you open the throttle on a 500 methanol burner nothing compares.
I still have a scar on my shin from push starting my brother and getting kicked by his steel shoe, ouch!
I got the scar and didn't even race, shows how dangerous those contraptions are.
