Hello guys, been a while, two years ago I went to a VFR , but still have a sweet spot for the XJ's.

Spotted a wild one in the work parking lot this week. Figured you guys would have a fun time "Riding the SECApocalypse", it sure took me a while to digest everything going on here.

The community here was awesome when I had the XJ, and the bike was great as well. Hope everybody is doing well and having fun on two wheels. The viffer has been a dream bike for me, providing the extra sport cornering capability the XJ couldn't, but also the hard bags are awesome to have as well. Last year I went around lake Superior with the dad and bro from home in MN, the VFR was a perfect blend of sport and touring for me. Probably no big trip this year with my first kiddo on the way.

Never done a mobile post on XJ so sorry if the pictures are turned (some thumbnails look rotated) or if I'm over the image upload limit.

Oh hey, that's from when I was working out at Cummins, eh? Man, what a shot job. Not that my new one is better.

I like the fuel tank fender would be great to do that and keep it functional for long trips

Yes it's fine as long as no one hits the back of the bike.

The back "tank" doesn't hold fuel, I cut out the whole bottom to use it as a wheel / subframe cover. But if it did (and I wish it did, the Virago tank limits range to 80- miles or so) in cases of being hit from behind my least worry would be what happens to the gas in that tank. It would probably be safer than the stock tank, which is right over the hot engine, spark plug, and electronics.

@wazimto - didn't realize you took those pictures, though they were reposts of some of mine. Glad you liked it. As mentioned, looks like the Cummins parking lot, did you work there?
