    Hello
Does anyone have a source where i can buy jets for the Hitachi carbs in 1981 Yamaha Seca 750.
    My bike runs very well, i’m cleaning the carbs and want to replace the jets. I have all the new parts except the following;
I have pulled #195 jets from the carbs.
I have not found a supplier who has this size.
    Thank you

Did you click on the link at the top right corner of the page and send Len a parts request?

Are you talking about air jets in the top of the carb? And did you replace the throttle shaft seals?

how did it run with those jets in it?
should have a 120 and a 40 in it so maybe something isn't marked right or not how we're used to seeing it

It ran very well, at all levels, start, low speed, accel and high speed.
I removed 43/120 [bottom] and 80/195 [top] all clearly marked

I don’t that they ever made a 195 main jet for hitachi carbs.
Where in Canada are you Rob ?
I have all those main and pilot jets on hand if you need them. And throttle shaft seals as well.

Those 2 orings that come in those kits no one know what they fit. And those 195 air jets where missing or damaged?
And where in BC ? I’m in Tsawwassen.

    Terrific
    Pleased to meet you.
I live by Fort Langley and work by Tsawwassen!
    The kit contained jet sizes 122, 120, 112, 80, 43, & 40.
They were unaware of the spec for 195.

I have another post anout my bike
Unidentifiable ports in float bowl Hitachi HSC32.”

i’ve poked well into both ports on 4 bowls using carb cleaner.
I can feel and enter the jet passage.
Only one bowl permits fluid flow through this port.
    I had ultrasonic’d the bowls.

I am seeking more knowledge about this port and the brass tube that extends into it from the carb body.
I expect that they need to be cleaned out and ready to pass liquids.
I’m trying to rig-up some tiny nozzles to force liquid and air through these. I’d like to remove them to understand the whole circuit.
    Any experience is appreciated.

    ‘Mlew’ had replied

“Its the inlet jet for the enrichment(choke) circuit. It needs to be cleaned to allow fuel to flow. the orifice is small, a single strand from a wire brush will usually clean it out”

I have heated the bowl with carb cleaner until it boils the clog. If all else fails I have lots of extra carb bowls.

Nobody sells kits with air jets, and unless you lose one I never replace them.

    Thanks for your reply.

How much are you charging for 4 carb bowls?
What do you know about the tube that enters that passage in the bowl?
