What is this tank off?

    It is not for a 550. The 550 tank has an oblong mounting hole on the rear flange.

    except for that rod connectiong both sides
    looks like rust through and patch left rear of tank
    looks seca 650 not a 900 tank because of the fuel cap

    650 seca is a very close fit you would need the 650 seca mounting rubber in the rear then add a little to it or gentld dent in the tank where it hits the 900 frame

    Except the "bar" is the rear mounting?
    I have a 650seca tank which I have tried, and it is doable, as hoggfiddles thread outlines, then I would just need to make some side panels and sort the seat...

    I was in on that conversation about the 650 tank I know it is doable.
    the add photo shows what looks like a rod on the tank or is that the flat mounting bar?
