    Hi All

its the turn/safety relay on my FZ750 and I need to test the starter safety relay bit. It's off the bike now and away from the storage so I can't refer to the wires. Can anyone tell me the pin positions of the two blue/white (starter relay feed) and the black/yellow, red/white (energise) signals?
Its a common part also on FJs

    Ta.

Is a picture of the wiring diagram any use to you? I've got a FJ manual in front of me with coloured diagrams but it's got 3 diagrams, FJ1100 83-85, FJ1200 86-87, FJ1200 88-90 and 91 onwards.
And i've got 3 relays, 2 are 11 pin and the other is 9 pin

    Hi thanks.

I have a wiring digarm too but the pin references are not obvious. Its a 9 pin often referred to as TurnSignal Relay. I just want to energise the safety relay ans see if I can hear it click.

For all you curious about the outcome of my FZ - she starts! I do believe that the issue was a flakey fuse which took a while to break down fully.. Intermittent fault followed by nada - anyone else heard of this?
Weirdly there were two stages to this issue.. 1) Engine not turn over 2) no spark

Fixed 1) by bypassing the 41r-71 (short blue/white wires) then
    2) noticed no 12v on the used live to ignition circuit(red/white) new fuse and bingo (although I jiggered about withe pump relay too)

then I returned the 41r-71 to its place and now it all works - oh well..
