Advice on exhaust modification.

yx600 Radian. The original original mufflers had to go as they were in terrible shape. So I picked up two of these cheap SC muffler knockoffs from ebay. I was able to get them to fit up relatively easy with a mid pipe link from a ninja 300 (and a pipe expander).

I like the look of them but they are LOUD. Like obnoxiously loud. I could just be high from using my unventilated garage as a paint booth but I think it may actually be louder than it is with no muffler.

I bought two of these cheap ebay db killers to quite them up but they dont really make that noticeable of a difference. They also supposedly function as a cat converter but I doubt it based on how cheap they are.

Anyone have any recommendations on how to quite them up that dosnt cost too much?

if you drill out the rivets you could add packing ,or you could add stainless steel steel wool scrubbies and cap the end with a dish strainer or simmilar type dics
