For sale, runs but has back pressure blowing oil into breather and exhaust. Bike has done nothing but sit most of its life! 6820 actual miles. Not willing to put anymore into it as i spent 1500 2 years ago to get it back right including two new tires, carbs cleaned and tuned. then i let it sit again. :( will add photos when i can get them from my phone to the computer.

Well, turns out it was a simple issue, petcock left in prime position, and obviously a stuck float or needle and seat. A crankcase drain and flush (was full of fuel), petcock in run position and a quick tap on the carb bowls with a sledge hammer, and all is good. She purrs like a kitten. Now just to get her cleaned up.

I was wondering if there was any interest in the old beasts, this one is in awesome shape, just needs some cosmetic attenetion. some cleaning and a little paint on the motor.

And it is a 82 with the mfg date of 9/81 hence my calling it a 81.

It would also be helpful for interested buyers to know a bit more about your asking price, and exact condition.

Even in good condition there can be a lot of things that need work...brakes, bearings, cables, valve adjustment, etc. These small little things can make a reasonably priced bike expensive to to the buyer.
Does it have a clear title and registration history?

Yes, ditch the fairing - no way that adds anything to what is a very pretty motorbike.
