Any chance someone on this forum has heard of or knows anything about Wiredgeorge Carburetor Services? What's the word on their reputation? Are they a good option for rebuild services or should I stay away??

I'm thinking about sending over a set of carbs, what is XJBIKES opinion of them??

    Thanks guys.

Never heard of them. They sure do charge you for the work though.
If you are not interested in learning how to do the work yourself, then contact @hogfiddles. He charges fairly and does excellent work, using the correct parts.

Jake, I don’t know anything of that company, never heard of him before. But I just spent the better part of an hour reading through his website, and there is nothing that sends up any red flags to me. It does seem to me that he is more Kawasaki and suzuki oriented, but that’s only because most of the description seem to be for those. That doesn’t mean he isn’t fluent in xj-land.

I focus on just the xj and xj-related carburetors. If you wish to talk further, send me a private message and I’ll forward all my info right to you.

If you are not going to do it yourself, go with the specialist--Hogfiddles.

I’ve used his services before, just as recently as last year. Great work but this was for non XJ carbs, if you want those rebuilt contact Dave aka Hogfiddles here, he does great work on the XJ carbs.

Dave "Hogfiddles" Fox is THE XJ Carb Whisperer. If he does yours you can put them on the bike and go. You can fine tune on the carbs after that is you want to but I have never needed to.
