    Hello everyone,

I managed to track down my first motorcycle ('84 Maxim 750) and buy it back. Unfortunately, the bike was in pieces and many were missing. I've got it 99.9% assembled but am struggling to find the proper routing for the fuel lines and octopus hoses. The carbs were from a Seca 750, so I'm hoping that they are compatible.

It seems that this is a common challenge, but I have yet to find images or schematics of my exact setup.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

looks like My 83 750 maxim so the seca hatachi carbs should be ok. there should only be a single fuel hose and single vacuum hose

it is the bike in your avatar?

Yes Sir! That's from back when I originally owned it. I've got considerably less hair now. This particular set of carbs has several other hoses coming from it I've seen described as "Octopus" hoses. I've also read varying opinions on what to do with them.
