    Flawed logic here I'm afraid. Compression has a minimal effect on power, probably zero until the cork in the bottleneck (the carb) is opened fully - and by that I mean throttle wide and slides fully up...
    Sort the fuelling out, but bear in mind your main jet will not be doing much (if anything) to correct it at 5k. Time to look at different needles maybe?

    just put it together and ride it. if starts right up and runs good, it'll go fast enough.

    I was told anything over 100 PSI is acceptable, but you want them within 10 PSI of eachother.
