For Sale 1983 900 Seca

Barn find. 38,000 miles, the carbs have been to church, oil/filter/gear oil changed. Fork seals just replaced. Brakes have been flushed and pads changed. New AGM battery. Clock and fuel guage work. Instrument bulbs replaced.
All stock except for the seat, led headlight, 4 into 1 exhaust, replacement windshield, and matching grips.

Starts easily cold or hot. It's the best running bike I've ever had but I want to sell it to finance working on 3 more. $2,800 obo. Clean title. Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Bike is #1,266 of 1,600.

 

-No air scoops or associated reflectors.
-Broken brake lever

Question - why two different mirrors?

 

Tried getting mechanical engineering son to print 3D duplicates of scoops. He never completed that and one went missing when he moved out. Didn't seem right to only have only 1 scoop on. I don't have reflectors .☹

Mirrors? I didn't notice it had two different ones, I'm always looking at the business side of them....

Brake lever: I have replacements for both levers somewhere in the garage that I bought last winter, I just haven't found them yet.

Never said she was perfect, just that she's an amazing ride.

Not at the moment..... I just notice things, especially on a nice 900 when things are missing/etc—

which scoop do you need? I can check my extras, and see if I have that particular side with no mate.

we may need to talk on parts you need for the incomplete mismatched one right behind you. I’m slowly sorting and separating my parts for the ones I still need to finish. send me a pm

Dave, here's what the mismatched one in front looks like now. It's peelable paint so I can change my mind if I don't like it. I'll send you a pm.

 

Update: transferred tank, fairing pieces and fender to a different 900 Seca frame. This frame has fewer miles (32,000). However, it also has some aftermarket straight pipes that I put baffles in and a 650 airbox (when I bought it there were only pods). It runs pretty well but not as well as the other one so I'm only asking $2,200 for it. It has a brand new front tire with new bearings but it's slightly out of balance. Rear blinkers are ugly and not currently working. Clean title in hand. Let me know it you're interested. I'm in Minneapolis, Minnesota P.S. Yes Dave I know it doesn't have scoops or front reflectors but I do have matching mirrors on this one.
