Hey Guys. Been working on this thing for years and it's finally almost there. Just wondering how you properly secure the cables coming out of the regulator/ignition box on the left side. This is a pretty big restoration so I'm not looking for the "Cable them so they don't pinch and bolt it in" answer. If anyone has pics of how it's done from factory it would be appreciated.

Hi, There are complete harness path diagrams in the service manual that I have (XJ900).
XJCD might be a good buy.

My service manual for my 650 shows the cable routing, maybe yours too? I took 100+ pics when I tore my bike down for full resto.

do you have a thread on your resto? Would love to see pics.

Ik looks very clean! Tomorrow I'm going to install a Carmo cdi so then I can take more photos but maybe these will help.

The Carmo cdi didn't work properly, so that was a bummer... But I took some some pictures of the backside. Didn't look very organized back there...
