Hey everyone. Just got word that the house I've been renting for 7 years is being sold. I have an old xj550 engine block sitting in my backyard and it needs to go fast. I know I could post it online as FREE but if I have no takers how would one get rid of an engine block.

Take the valve cover and the cams off. Pull the 8 shims and send them to me For the shim pool first……
The shims, the valve cover, and the two engine side covers, too……..

Then the rest goes to the junk metal guy.

Around here, you’d just set it out by the road, or on the curb if you’re in town, and a hunk of metal like that would disappear in pretty short order—

Post it up here in the for sale/buy section. Might get a local hit. If not, try to save the shims etc. as Dave mentioned.

How do I contact an admin? My 548-word post that answers a technical question is spam flagged. Thanks.
